Hey there K Griff and Team!!

Well, as i have said on the forum many times previously, i am super excited to be in the front row of your 9:30pm show on December 3rd in Melbourne!! But my purpose of this post is to suggest places for you to eat whilst you are in our city. ( A girls gotta eat!! ;))

Check these out!!!

Full Buffet- Conservatory @ Crown
Afternoon Tea- The Langham Southbank
Vegetarian- Soul Mama @ St Kilda Sea Baths
Japanese- Ichi Ni @ 12 The Esplanade St Kilda (where all the D-Listers go)
Gourmet Sandwiches- Earl Canteen (city)
Brunch- Miletos on Chapel St, Prahran
Italian- Cafe Trevi, Lygon St, Carlton
Dessert/Coffee/Cake-Brunetti's,Carlton
New material on the weird and crazy of Melbourne society- McDonalds on Swanston St (latenight). Girl, theres enough material there for a whole show!! Lol

Well i hope i get to Meet & Greet you when you are here, which isn't far away!! And definitely try some of these places. They truly would have to be the best of Melbourne.

kathy firstly im ridiculously excited for u to be coming to melbourne-
however you've clashed your melbourne show with the stereosonic music festival which goes til 10pm!
meaning a) i can't go to u see u so I'm heart broken, and b) heaps of ur gays are gonna be there as well with their tops off partying the day away! therefore also missing out on u..
obviously your not going to change your show but can u PLEASE do at least another appearance somewhere public in melbourne? i need to see u!

I would recommend Maha in Bond Street, La Luna Bistro in Carlton (great area upstairs you can d-list to yourself) not to mention the cupcake bakery cnr flinders lane & elizabeth st!

Here's my faves -

Breakfast - Galleon Cafe, St Kilda - The best breakfast you will have in Australia !!! This retro themed cafe pumps out the most amazing coffee and breakfast. Go shop on Acland St after and soak in St Kilda life.

Lunch- Pizza al Metro, Carlton - Authentic and traditional Italian pizza ordered by the metre !!

Dinner - Maze by Gordon Ramsay - enough said try the degustation menu ..

Guys it's my birthday today and am going to the 730 show tomorrow night front row !! It would mean the world to score a meet n greet and happy to show ID to prove it's my birthday

Also, I'm a DJ and presenter at Australia's only gay radio station Joy94.9FM, one of only six in the world. I'd love to chat with Kathy in the studios while she's here about Prop 8 and how she made a difference in LA as our gay marriage topic comes to a head with our government tomorrow. If she is up for it please let me know.
