Polish up those shoes, because we're doing it again. We are proud to announce that Kathy was nominated again for an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program. On top of that her special Straight to Hell was also nominated for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special (for of course, the music).

Can three be the charm this year? Two Emmy nods and a Grammy nod sure would be ironic. Aint it great when a plan comes together? More updates as we get closer to the awards show. And a special note to the great, late George Carlin, who is also part of the "special" category, we miss you.

SEASON FOUR LAUNCH :: TV NEWS

Season four begins June 12th at 9pm Eastern, with new episodes every week at 10pm after that. Look for BRAVO to make the hours and days surrounding the launch filled with Kathy specials and re-runs, so get your tapes/DVDs ready.

Some special highlights, in addition to the wedding Kathy legally "ministered", are as follows: A show at Walter Reed Army hospital in D.C, Steve Wozniak's help in opening the Oprah inspired "Kathy Griffin Leadership Academy" in rural Mexico, and Kathy recording a comedy CD expressly for the purpose of trying to get a GRAMMY nomination (yep).

In addition, as previously announced here, Kathy performed on an all gay flight from San Francisco to Sydney while doing stand up on the airplane's PA system, with shirts flying. But there is even more to look forward to. How about an afternoon spent with Britney Spears' boytoy Adnan Ghalib. Enough? Well there is more. And you will all see it starting in June exclusively on Bravo.

SURPRISE GLAAD AWARD WIN :: NEWSBLAST

As you have read here, Kathy is on a quest to win a Grammy, a story which will play out during the entire new season of The D-List. However, ironically, the GLAAD awards seem to have beaten us to the punch.

Team Griffin walked the red carpet with Kathy for the first time in history as Kathy won a surprise GLAAD award at the 19th GLAAD Media Awards show. Described by Tiffany as a very surreal experience, Kathy brought out her mom to open the show as a surprise guest. All involved were totally shocked when they were later announced as the Outstanding Reality Series winner. Kathy was not expecting to win at all (press release).

Further adding to the surprises was an announcement from Bravo that they are picking up and airing the awards show, which will be aired on June 27th. And did we mention we've got exclusive pictures of the event.

What's better than two emu's and a kangaroo? Kathy Griffin with her shirt off during an Air New Zealand flight. Yes...that is what the attendant call button was meant for.

You don't expect a performance when you ask for peanuts, but this was the "Pink Flight" and Kathy sure gave one. After landing in Australia, Kathy and Carson Kressley visited the Gay Mardi Gras parade before kicking back with Lance Bass on the way to the Sydney zoo. YEP, KATHY'S A MINISTER :: NEWSBLAST

Bravo cameras were rolling as Kathy Griffin turned minister, flying out from California to make one New York couple very happy. Ordained "online" by the Universal Life Church, she had to complete additional New York paperwork to make it all official. How did it go? You'll see it soon in season 4 (complete article).
